Across the nation, Americans are preparing to celebrate a remarkable milestone—250 years since the birth of the United States of America.
Flags are flying, fireworks are waiting, and communities everywhere are getting ready to honor the people, ideas, inventions, and dreams that helped shape our nation.
But for one curious boy named Eli, the celebration begins a little differently.
On the weekend before America's big birthday, Eli decides to stay up late and watch the History Channel. What starts as a simple evening soon becomes an unforgettable journey through 250 years of courage, creativity, determination, and discovery.
From revolutionaries and presidents to inventors and innovators, from hidden heroes to world-changing ideas, Eli is about to discover the people and events that helped transform a young nation into something extraordinary.
As his journey begins, one word appears again, and again throughout America's story...

Auditions are held each year, typically on the last weekend of September. Most of this year's team performed in Swan Lake at Chrysler Hall, with "International Ballet Stars," formerly the State Ballet of Ukraine.
